BERTIE
DOB:03.11.1996 - 30.11.2005
Unfortunately at 8 years of
age, Bertie got cancer which grew into a massive
tumour, it was inoperable so we made his life as happy and
comfortable as we could but sadly the day came when he had
had enough.
He had enjoyed romping in the
garden during the summer months, celebrated another
Christmas and his ninth birthday but on
the 30th November 2005 we went for our very last walk
together on the beach and said our Goodbyes.

He was
a true character who never stopped loving to play
tug-o-war, running around with car tyres, or
plunging into the water right up to the last, a real
trouper who bore his illness with dignity and strength and
if you were very unlucky, would absolutely smother you
with the most slobbery kisses imaginable.
Missed
terribly but always with a smile as our old Slobber Chops
was just such a happy boy and that's how we remember him.
