ALCHERA THREE
TIMES A LADY "Jade"
Jade was always
my favourite bitch from the first litter but considered her to
be maybe too heavy for the show ring.
She was sold
but unfortunately ended up coming back to me, she had
experienced a bad time and was very underweight but that was
taken care of immediately and I soon got the weight back
on her.
Another buyer asked if they could have her
to accompany one of my harli pups, I allowed Jade to go to the
new home but worse was to come.

Jade ran away and was
loose for 9 and a half days, once I found this out I was up in
the Cambridge area searching for her daily and due to the
posters that had been put up a sighting was reported.
When I got Jade back in my arms, she had dropped a third
of her weight, had extremely sore pads and a few cuts from
branches and thorns - she was lucky - she had been on the run
in a village that was 2 miles away from the M11, had a main
railway line running through it and it was lambing season.
Needless to say, Jade is at home with me where I think she
always belonged, she is a lovely girl who when she wags her
tail the whole of her body joins in the motion.
Jade
has only been shown about seven times in her life but has
achieved, amongst others, 1st Maiden Bitch and 1st Post
Graduate Bitch so she is qualified for Crufts 2004.
